Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and adjustments are handled for services provided by Solaris Studio. By working with us, you agree to the terms described below.


2. No Refund on Completed Work

Once a project, deliverable, or editing service has been completed and delivered, whether in full or in part—no refunds will be issued.
Creative work involves time, skill, and resources, and completed work cannot be “returned.”


3. Refunds for Upfront Payments

For projects requiring an upfront payment or retainer:

  • Before Work Begins: If you cancel before any work has started, you may be eligible for a 50% refund of the upfront payment to cover administrative and reservation costs.

  • After Work Has Begun: If work has started, no refunds will be provided, even if the project is not yet complete.


4. Monthly Retainer Plans

For clients on monthly or ongoing retainer plans:

  • Payments already made are non-refundable.

  • You may cancel future months at any time, but the cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle.

  • Work already completed or in progress for the current month will not be refunded.


5. Revisions and Changes

Revisions included in your package are not refundable, even if the client chooses not to use the revisions.
Any revision beyond the agreed limit is considered an additional service and billed accordingly.


6. Project Delays Caused by Clients

Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by the client, including but not limited to:

  • delayed feedback

  • missing footage, assets, or instructions

  • unresponsiveness

  • changes in direction after work has started

Such delays may extend the delivery timeline and do not qualify for refunds.


7. Quality Concerns

If you are dissatisfied with the delivered work, Solaris Studio will:

  • review the concerns, and

  • make reasonable efforts to adjust within the agreed revision limit.

However, dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund.


8. Service Cancellation

Solaris Studio reserves the right to cancel a project due to:

  • abusive or unprofessional behavior

  • illegal or harmful content

  • violation of Terms & Conditions

  • non-payment

In such cases, no refund will be issued for work already completed.
