1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Solaris Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
These Terms apply to all clients, collaborators, and visitors who engage with Solaris Studio’s services, website, or communication channels.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.
2. Use of Services
To ensure smooth collaboration and legal use of Solaris Studio’s services, clients must follow the guidelines below:
Eligibility: Our services are intended for individuals or businesses capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under applicable law. By working with Solaris Studio, you confirm that you are legally authorized to engage our services on behalf of yourself or your organization.
Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, and all necessary assets (footage, brand files, scripts, logos, references, etc.) required to complete the project.
Delays in providing materials or approvals may affect delivery timelines.Prohibited Activities: Clients agree not to use Solaris Studio’s services for any unlawful or harmful purpose. This includes, but is not limited to:
Submitting content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights
Providing footage or materials that include illegal, abusive, or harmful content
Attempting to misuse, resell, or redistribute Solaris Studio’s proprietary templates, editing style, or project files
Engaging in behavior that is abusive, threatening, or harmful toward our team
Solaris Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if any of the above conditions are violated.
3. Intellectual Property
All video edits, graphics, animations, templates, design elements, and other creative materials produced by Solaris Studio remain the intellectual property of Solaris Studio until full payment is received.
After full payment, clients receive the usage rights specified in their service agreement.
Raw project files (Premiere Pro, After Effects, assets, timelines, etc.) are not included unless explicitly agreed upon as an additional deliverable.
Solaris Studio’s original work, including our editing styles, templates, design systems, and website content—is owned by us and is protected under applicable copyright laws.
Client-Provided Material: Clients retain full ownership of all footage, scripts, logos, and materials they provide.
By working with Solaris Studio, the client grants us permission to use these materials only for delivering the agreed-upon services.Restrictions: Clients may not copy, resell, redistribute, modify, or recreate our proprietary templates, editing styles, animations, or project files without written permission. Use of our brand assets or internal creative materials without authorization is not permitted.
4. Termination
Solaris Studio reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services at any time if a client violates these Terms, engages in abusive or unlawful activity, fails to make payments, or disrupts the working relationship.
If services are terminated, any rights to use delivered content remain subject to the agreed payment terms. Work in progress may be paused or stopped entirely until outstanding issues are resolved.
Clients also have the right to discontinue services at any time; however, payments for completed work or ongoing monthly retainers are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the service agreement.
5. Disclaimers
To clarify the scope of Solaris Studio’s responsibilities as a creative and post-production service provider, the following disclaimers apply:
No Guarantee of Results: Solaris Studio provides video editing and content production services, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as increased views, engagement, revenue, or audience growth. Content performance depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.
Accuracy of Client-Provided Material: We rely on the information, scripts, footage, and assets provided by the client. Solaris Studio is not responsible for inaccuracies, copyright issues, or misleading claims in client-submitted content.
Creative Interpretation: All edits, design choices, and creative decisions are made based on the client’s instructions and our professional judgment. Minor variations in style, pacing, or interpretation may occur and are not considered errors.
Third-Party Platforms: We are not responsible for issues caused by YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or any other platform—including strikes, takedowns, monetization decisions, algorithm changes, or policy updates.
Liability Limitation: Solaris Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including delays caused by client feedback, missing files, or external platform errors.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solaris Studio and its directors, employees, contractors, or partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
Solaris Studio is not liable for delays or issues caused by:
client-provided content that is incomplete, inaccurate, or copyrighted
platform-related decisions or actions (e.g., YouTube strikes, demonetization, removals, algorithm changes)
missed deadlines due to delayed feedback, missing files, or revision requests
third-party software, storage, or file transfer services used during collaboration
Your use of Solaris Studio’s services is at your own discretion and risk. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service related to the claim.
7. Changes to Terms
Solaris Studio reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated date will be reflected at the top. Your continued use of the platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of Solaris Studio shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
